Simulation center design can pose a challenge – your space needs to be functional and manageable.
VTS can assist architects and facility planners in the floor plan design for a simulation center including clinical skills rooms, simulation rooms, procedure rooms, control rooms, debrief rooms, conference spaces, reception, hallways, etc.
Services range from simple equipment placement and single room layouts to full simulation center design. Drawings can be provided ranging from free-hand sketches to elaborate computer-generated detailed plans.
While assisting in simulation center design, the VTS Space Planning Department utilizes its understanding of the different disciplines in healthcare to assist in determining optimal work flows; recommending space allocations and relationships; integrating patient, staff, and material flows and determining the equipment mixes best suited to particular functions.
VTS consults with all key stakeholders (clinical, IT, Network, etc.) to determine the expected functionality of the facility.
